FAQ's
What will I learn?
- This course is aimed at anyone who would like to progress into the motor vehicle industry or onto further education.

On the course you will build up a portfolio of evidence of the practical skills used in motorcycle maintenance.

You will also be taught how to ride a motorcycle in a safe and legal environment.
To get on this course you must show:

Completion of a Pupil Profile.

A good report from your school including attendance and punctuality.

Have the ability to behave around other young people and members of the public in a non-school environment.

The ability to understand strict health and safety rules and do as you are asked.

A keen interest in motorcycles.
How will I be assessed?

The course will be assessed by external verifiers/moderators

You will achieve up to ABC Award Level 1 which will enable your progression into further education or apprentice positions.
Is there anything else I need to know?

To attend this course you will need to adopt a grown up attitude to succeed around the BUMPY program.

Wakefield College – Whitwood Campus offer motorcycle maintenance courses either full time or part time, for any young person who wishes to take their training further.
